New publication about neutrophil extracellular traps in fever and hypothermia

Several of our colleagues, led by Michal Pastorek, published an article on the formation and removal of neutrophil extracellular traps during fever and hypothermia. After examining a variety of both infectious and sterile stimuli, their observations indicate that NET formation and clearance are enhanced at 40°C, while temperatures of 35°C and 42°C attenuate this response.
