At the 45th Congress of the Slovak Nephrology Society with international participation, associate professor Šebeková received a prestigious award for the best publication of the past year, reaffirming her top professional standing. Our clinical collaborator, doctor Alexandra Gáal Kovalčíková, was honored with the award for the best abstract by a young author, marking a significant recognition for emerging experts in nephrology. Congratulations to both! The congress also highlighted innovation, as professor Peter Boor presented the use of artificial intelligence in nephropathology, outlining new possibilities and sharing his experiences in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases.
