Graduate student Karolína Gubišová and three PhD students Letícia Hudecová, Kristína Lichá and Jakub Szabó participated in the 19th RECOOP Bridges in Life Sciences Conference 2024 in Bratislava. They presented projects dealing with how azithromycin administration enhances neutrophil reactivity, how the presence of cathelicidin on neutrophil extracellular traps promotes their toxicity, how small extracellular vesicles in plasma protect extracellular DNA or the brain volumetric changes due to cafeteria diet in rats.
